Frank Lloyd Wright's Darwin D. Martin House was built for businessman and life-long friend Darwin D. Martin in Buffalo, New York (1903-1905). Wright referred to the Prairie School home as "the opus" due to the prominent rectilinear lines hugging the landscape. The prairie style design highlights the "T" shaped floor plan and extensive glass windows.
