The Frank Lloyd Wright SC Johnson Global Headquarters and research tower addition were built between 1936 and 1950 in Racine, WI. The building was a shift from Wright's prairie style to a modern office building design with "a true glimpse of the shape of things to come." It was also Wright's vision "to build the best office building in the world."
