Storer Textile Block Building Set

The Storer House was one of Frank Lloyd Wright's four Mayan Revival-style textile block homes built on the hillside of Hollywood Hills in California (1922-1934). Wright developed the "textile block construction" building system which interlocked individual concrete blocks with steel rods to showcase textured "fabric" for the walls. It visually unified the home with the hillside to create the impression that the home was a man-made extension of the landscape.
